Anker Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro is a premium true wireless earbud system designed for music, calls, commuting, travel, and everyday listening. It combines 9.2mm wool-paper diaphragm drivers, Hi-Fi sound, Adaptive ANC 4.0, and Anker’s Thus™ AI chip to provide personalized audio and advanced noise and voice processing. The earbuds support AAC, SBC, and LDAC audio codecs.

For calls, the Liberty 5 Pro uses 8 microphones, 2 Voice Pickup Units (VPUs), and an AI Large Model powered by the Anker Thus™ AI chip. Soundcore states that the system uses 10 sensors to isolate the user’s voice in noisy or quiet environments. The earbuds are designed to maintain voice clarity while background noise is being reduced.

The Adaptive ANC 4.0 system uses eight sensors and the Thus™ AI chip to process more than 384,000 noise signals per second. Soundcore states that the noise-cancellation depth is 100% more effective than the Liberty 4 Pro, based on its specified comparison methodology. Auto Transparency with Voice Detection can also switch the listening experience when speech is detected.

The Liberty 5 Pro supports HearID 5.0 personalized EQ, AI Sound Enhancement, and Dolby Atmos with head tracking. It also features 20 built-in offline voice commands for functions such as skipping tracks, answering calls, and adjusting volume. Soundcore states that these voice commands support English, German, Japanese, and Chinese.

The charging case includes a 0.96-inch smart display for checking battery status and controlling basic earbud functions. Battery life reaches up to 12 hours per charge in Normal mode, or up to 50 hours with the charging case. With ANC enabled, playback is rated at up to 6.5 hours per charge and 28 hours with the case. A 5-minute charge provides up to 4 hours of playback in Normal mode.

Compatibility

The Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro connects to smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other compatible Bluetooth devices. It supports AAC, SBC, and LDAC, with LDAC available on compatible devices. The earbuds can connect to up to three devices, although Soundcore notes that LDAC and multipoint functionality cannot operate simultaneously.

The earbuds support the Soundcore app for features such as personalized EQ, ANC settings, and sound customization. Dolby Atmos with head tracking is also supported on compatible devices and content.
