MERCUSYS MR20 AC750 Wireless Dual Band Router

MERCUSYS MR20 AC750 Wireless Dual Band Router provides reliable dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity for homes and small networks. It delivers combined AC750 wireless speeds of up to 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 433 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, providing flexibility for everyday browsing, online communication, streaming, gaming, and other connected-device activities.

The 2.4 GHz band provides wider compatibility and is suitable for everyday internet use, while the faster 5 GHz band is designed for bandwidth-intensive activities such as HD streaming and gaming. The MR20 supports the 802.11ac/a/b/g/n wireless standards, allowing it to work with a broad range of Wi-Fi devices.

The router includes one 10/100 Mbps WAN port and two 10/100 Mbps LAN ports for connecting wired devices. It supports multiple operating modes, including Router Mode, Access Point Mode, and Range Extender Mode, allowing the device to be adapted to different network configurations.

Wireless security features include WPA/WPA2/WPA3 support, while additional networking functions include guest networking, access control, parental controls, DHCP, NAT forwarding, SPI firewall protection, and IP/MAC address binding.

Important Speed Limitation

Speed Limitation: The advertised AC750 wireless speeds are theoretical maximum link rates, not guaranteed internet speeds. Actual wireless performance depends on the connected device, Wi-Fi conditions, distance from the router, network interference, channel usage, and other environmental factors.

The MR20 also has 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, so wired connections through the WAN/LAN ports are limited to Fast Ethernet speeds and cannot deliver Gigabit Ethernet throughput.

Compatibility

The MERCUSYS MR20 is compatible with Wi-Fi devices using supported 802.11ac/a/b/g/n standards and both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless networks.

It can connect devices such as:

• Smartphones and tablets
• Laptops and desktop computers with compatible Wi-Fi
• Smart TVs and streaming devices
• Gaming consoles
• Printers and other Wi-Fi-enabled peripherals

The MR20 also supports wired devices through its 10/100 Mbps WAN and LAN ports.
