The SONY WI-C100 Wireless Stereo Headset features 9mm dynamic drivers, Bluetooth 5.0, DSEE, IPX4 splash and sweat resistance, up to 25 hours of music playback, AAC/SBC support, and a lightweight 20g neckband design.
The SONY WI-C100 Wireless Stereo Headset is a lightweight wireless in-ear headset designed for everyday music listening, calls, commuting, and entertainment. Its flexible neckband design helps provide a stable fit around the neck, while the in-ear housings are shaped for comfortable everyday wear. Sony lists the headset at approximately 20g.
The WI-C100 features 9mm dynamic drivers and supports a Bluetooth frequency response of 20Hz–20kHz. Sony’s DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) is designed to restore high-frequency detail lost during audio compression, while the Sony | Sound Connect app allows users to fine-tune their sound.
Wireless connectivity is provided through Bluetooth 5.0, with an effective range of approximately 10 meters under line-of-sight conditions. The headset supports SBC and AAC audio codecs as well as A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, and HSP Bluetooth profiles.
The WI-C100 is rated IPX4, making it splash-proof and sweat-proof for everyday active use. Sony specifies that this protection does not mean the headset is suitable for submersion.
The built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 25 hours of continuous music playback and up to 15 hours of continuous communication time. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours, while a 10-minute quick charge provides up to 60 minutes of playback. Charging is performed via USB.
The headset also includes convenient controls for playback, track selection, volume adjustment, and calls, making the SONY WI-C100 a practical choice for lightweight wireless listening throughout the day.
