The Logitech G309 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse is a lightweight gaming mouse designed for players who want precise tracking, low-latency wireless performance, and flexible connectivity. It combines Logitech’s HERO 25K optical sensor with LIGHTFORCE hybrid optical-mechanical switches, delivering accurate tracking and fast click response for gaming.
The HERO 25K sensor provides sensitivity from 100 to 25,600 DPI, with zero smoothing, acceleration, or filtering. It also delivers tracking speeds above 400 IPS and acceleration above 40G, making the G309 suitable for fast-paced competitive games where accurate mouse movement is important.
For connectivity, the G309 supports both LIGHTSPEED 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth Low Energy. LIGHTSPEED provides a high-performance 1kHz report rate, while Bluetooth offers an alternative low-power connection for compatible devices. The wireless range is up to 10 meters under suitable conditions.
The mouse uses LIGHTFORCE hybrid switches, combining optical actuation with a mechanical feel. It features 7 buttons, including programmable controls that can be customized through Logitech G HUB. The mouse also includes onboard memory supporting one onboard profile and up to five profiles through G HUB.
One of the G309’s distinctive features is its flexible power design. With a standard AA alkaline battery, it provides approximately 300 hours of battery life at 1kHz LIGHTSPEED or up to 600 hours over Bluetooth. With Logitech POWERPLAY technology, the mouse can operate without the AA battery and can achieve effectively unlimited operating time while used with a compatible POWERPLAY charging mouse pad.

Compatibility
The Logitech G309 LIGHTSPEED is designed for compatible Windows and macOS computers and connects using either the included LIGHTSPEED USB receiver or Bluetooth. Logitech G HUB can be used to configure supported mouse functions and profiles.
The mouse is also compatible with Logitech’s POWERPLAY wireless charging system, allowing battery-free operation when used with a compatible POWERPLAY charging mouse pad. Logitech’s design specifically allows the mouse to operate with an AA battery or without the battery when POWERPLAY is being used
