The MSI VIGOR GK30 PLUNGER SW AR Layout Wired Gaming Keyboard is a full-size wired gaming keyboard designed to combine a familiar desktop layout with a mechanical-like typing experience. The keyboard uses plunger switches with a three-part construction, designed to provide a crisp typing feel while offering a rated lifespan of more than 12 million keystrokes.

The VIGOR GK30 features RGB backlighting across six lighting areas, with multiple lighting effects that can be customized through MSI software. Dedicated lighting hotkeys also allow users to adjust lighting effects without requiring software.

For gaming, the keyboard supports 6-key rollover and 20-key anti-ghosting, helping register multiple simultaneous key presses during gameplay. Its full-size layout is available in different regional configurations, and this version is specified with an AR layout.

The keyboard features a water-repellent design with floating keys and drainage holes intended to help discharge accidentally spilled liquid. MSI specifies this protection under limited splash conditions and notes that the keyboard should not be immersed in water.
