TP-Link TL-SF1024D is a 24-port 10/100Mbps unmanaged Ethernet switch designed to expand wired network connectivity in homes, offices, classrooms, retail environments, and other small-network installations. It provides 24 RJ45 ports with 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation, allowing multiple computers, printers, access points, IP devices, and other Ethernet equipment to connect to the same local network.
All 24 ports support Auto-Negotiation and Auto MDI/MDIX, so the switch automatically detects the connected device’s link speed and eliminates the need for crossover cables. As an unmanaged switch, the TL-SF1024D operates on a plug-and-play basis without requiring software configuration for standard network connectivity.
The switch uses a non-blocking switching architecture with a 4.8Gbps switching capacity and a 3.57Mpps packet forwarding rate, allowing Ethernet traffic to be forwarded at wire speed for supported 10/100Mbps connections. It also supports IEEE 802.3x flow control for full-duplex operation and backpressure for half-duplex operation.
The TL-SF1024D features TP-Link’s energy-efficient Green Ethernet technology, which automatically adjusts power consumption according to link status and cable length. TP-Link states that the design can save up to 75% of power consumption compared with a conventional switch under applicable conditions.
Its 13-inch steel enclosure supports both desktop placement and rack mounting, making it suitable for installations where a larger number of Fast Ethernet ports are required in a compact network cabinet or workspace. The fanless design also helps provide quiet operation.

Compatibility
TP-Link TL-SF1024D is designed for Ethernet devices using 10/100Mbps RJ45 connections, including desktop and laptop computers, printers, network storage, IP devices, wireless access points, and other compatible wired network equipment. Each port automatically negotiates the appropriate 10Mbps or 100Mbps connection speed.
The switch is unmanaged, so standard connectivity does not require a controller, configuration software, or manual network setup. Auto MDI/MDIX also removes the need to determine whether a straight-through or crossover cable is required.
For standard 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet connections, TP-Link specifies a maximum cable length of 100 meters using the appropriate network cable. The switch is intended for Fast Ethernet networks and does not provide Gigabit Ethernet ports.
