TP-Link Omada OC300 Hardware Controller is a professional on-premises network controller designed to provide centralized management for compatible Omada access points, switches, gateways, and other supported networking devices. It allows network administrators to configure, monitor, and manage an Omada network from a unified interface without the need to keep a dedicated PC or server running as the controller.
The OC300 features a quad-core ARM Cortex-A72 processor running at 1.2GHz, 2GB DDR4 memory, and 8GB eMMC storage, providing a dedicated hardware platform for Omada network management. It includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports and one USB 3.0 port, with the Ethernet interfaces used for network connectivity and controller access.
With Omada’s centralized management platform, administrators can configure supported wireless access points, switches, and routers from a single interface. The controller supports functions including automatic device discovery, batch configuration, batch firmware upgrades, unified configuration, network monitoring, abnormal-event notifications, captive portal configuration, and multi-site management.
The OC300 also supports cloud access, allowing authorized administrators to remotely access and manage the controller through supported Omada services and applications. TP-Link positions the OC300 for small-to-medium networks as well as deployments in offices, schools, retail environments, hotels, and multi-site installations.
The controller can manage up to 500 Omada access points, 100 Omada switches, and 100 Omada routers, subject to the supported-device models and configuration. TP-Link also specifies support for up to 15,000 clients. The exact number of supported devices can vary with the supported Omada models and controller software version.

Compatibility
The TP-Link Omada OC300 is designed to centrally manage supported TP-Link Omada access points, switches, and routers. Compatibility is model-dependent, so supported-device lists should be checked before deploying the controller with a particular Omada product.
The controller connects to the local network through its Gigabit Ethernet ports and can be administered locally or through supported Omada cloud access. The Omada App can also be used for supported management functions.
The OC300 is particularly suitable for small and medium offices, schools, hotels, retail locations, and multi-site business networks where centralized management of multiple Omada devices is required.
