The SONY WH-G500 INZONE H5 Wireless Gaming Headset is a wireless gaming headset designed for PC and PlayStation gaming. It combines 2.4GHz wireless connectivity, 360 Spatial Sound for Gaming, 40mm drivers, a bidirectional boom microphone with AI-based noise reduction, and up to 28 hours of battery life.
The INZONE H5 uses 40mm dynamic drivers with a 5Hz–20kHz frequency response, 21Ω impedance, and 89dB/mW sensitivity. Sony’s 360 Spatial Sound for Gaming is supported through the INZONE Hub software on PC.
For wireless gaming, the headset uses a 2.4GHz wireless connection through the supplied USB transceiver. It also supports a detachable 3.5mm wired connection, giving users the option to use the headset with compatible devices that have a headphone jack.
The headset features a bidirectional boom microphone with AI-based noise reduction technology. The microphone can be muted simply by flipping the boom microphone upward.
The built-in battery provides up to 28 hours of wireless playback, while Sony’s quick-charge function provides approximately 3 hours of playback from a 10-minute charge. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours.
Designed for extended gaming sessions, the INZONE H5 weighs approximately 260g and uses a circumaural closed dynamic design. Sony also highlights its low-pressure fit for extended comfort.
